I believe true comfort and ease is all about balance. It's about surrounding yourself with beauty in a way that feels natural. It’s about pairing elements that might seem contrary until you look closely; and until you reach out your hand and actually touch it, which you must do because Rustic Luxe revels in the tactile and the approachable. I think it’s something we all want. We want to feel joy without the need to feel absolutely fabulous every minute of the day. We want to feel healthy without needing to achieve elite athlete status first. We want to feel beautiful without the need for a team of beauty professionals on the payroll. We want to feel satisfied with all of the hard work we do while keeping time and energy for all the people and pastimes that make our hearts sing.

There’s definitely a time for pushing ourselves as hard as we can and enjoying over-the-top experiences as well. But only in well-measured amounts. Then again, some people enjoy living their lives that way as a whole. But I’m guessing, if you’re reading this, you’re not in that camp. Neither am I.
